วรรณกรรมชิ้นนี้ได้รับแรงบันดาลใจจากเหตุการณ์เหยียดสีผิวและเชื้อชาติ รวมถึงประวัติศาสตร์การต่อสู้เพื่อสิทธิและความเท่าเทียมกันทางเชื้อชาติและสีผิว
This literature is inspired by the issue of skin tone and racial discrimination as well as the history of the social fighting against racism in order to gain human rights and equality.
ดำเนินเรื่องโดยใช้มุมมองบุคคลที่สาม โดยใช้แอนนาเป็นตัวละครหลักในการดำเนินเรื่อง สอดแทรกประเด็นการเหยียดเชื้อชาติ สีผิว และปัญหาการใช้ความรุนแรงของเยาวชนในโรงเรียน
The literature is written from the third person’s point of view. Anna is the main character who delivers the message of the story about the issue of skin tone and racial discrimination and youth violence in the school.
แอนนาคือเด็กหญิงชาวผิวสีโคลนซึ่งเป็นที่รังเกียจของชาวผิวสีน้ำเงินดังนั้น เธอจึงมักจะถูกกลั่นแกล้งโดยชาวผิวสีน้ำเงินมาโดยตลอด กระทั่งเธอเรียนวิชาประวัติศาสตร์กลับพบเพียงเรื่องราวของชาวผิวสีน้ำเงิน เธอจึงค้นคว้าประวัติศาสตร์ของเผ่าพันธุ์ตนบ้าง เมื่อศึกษาแล้วพบว่าประวัติศาสตร์แต่ละเล่มกลับมีเนื้อหาสนับสนุนพวกพ้องของตน ทำให้แอนนาเข้าใจวลีที่ว่า “ประวัติศาสตร์เขียนโดยผู้ชนะ”
Anna is a girl with mud-colour skin complexion who is hated by other students with blue-colour skin complexion. Therefore, she is always bullied by other blue-colour skin complexion students. One day, she has a history lesson, but what she has learned is all about the blue-colour skin complexion people. Therefore, she started to research on the history of her own race. From her research, she found out that different books tell different history, and all of them are written to support its own race. She then truly understands the quote “History is written by the victors.”
