จากวิถีชีวิตของคนไทยเชื้อสายจีนผสมผสานกับรูปแบบเชิงสัญลักษณ์ในศิลปวัฒนธรรมของประเพณีการเฉลิมฉลอง สีสันและรูปทรงสถาปัตยกรรมในพุทธสถานจีน วิถีชีวิตที่สะท้อนถึงเอกลักษณ์ไทยจีน สิ่งที่ส่งต่อจากบรรพบุรุษสู่รุ่นของข้าพเจ้า และการทับซ้อนของวัฒนธรรม คือจุดบันดาลใจเริ่มต้นในการสร้างสรรค์ที่เกิดจากความประทับใจ จากมนต์เสน่ห์ผสมผสานระหว่างประเพณี วัฒนธรรม ความเป็นอยู่ที่มีร่วมกัน เกิดเป็นการทับซ้อนเชิงสังคมที่มีความหลากหลายในสองวัฒนธรรมถูกหลอมรวมเข้าด้วยกัน และสะท้อนบริบทของสีในรูปแบบที่ข้าพเจ้าต้องการนำเสนอด้วยเทคนิคภาพพิมพ์และแกะไม้
From the way of living of Thai Chinese mingling with a symbolic style of art and culture of traditional celebrations as well as colors and architecture of Chinese Buddhist temples, reflect Thai-Chinese identities that have been passed from the ancestors to my generation and showed the overlapping of cultures in the society. These aspects inspire me and become a starting point of this creation. It originates from the impression towards the enchanting blending of traditions and cultures and how people living together. This work shows the diversity of the society which two different cultures are fused together and reflect the context of colors that I wish to present in the techniques of printing and wood carving.
