ได้แรงบันดาลใจจากความรู้สึกของข้าพเจ้าซึ่งมีต่อบ้านเรือนไทยสมัยโบราณที่ข้าพเจ้า เริ่มสนใจมาตั้งแต่เด็ก หากแต่กาลเวลาเปลี่ยนผ่านไป บ้านหลายหลังขาดการดูแลรักษา บางหลังถูกทุบทิ้ง บางหลังถูกบดบังทัศนียภาพด้วยอาคารอื่นจนมองไม่เห็นและถูกลืมเลือนไปในที่สุด ข้าพเจ้าจึงอยากถ่ายทอดความรู้สึกผ่านผลงานศิลปะสิ่งทอ ผ่านการใช้แสงและเงาเพื่อแสดงอารมณ์ความรู้สึก ซึ่งสามารถถ่ายทอดคุณค่าความงามของบ้านเรือนเก่าที่มีความทรงจำ ประวัติความเป็นมา ควรค่าแก่คนรุ่นหลังจะช่วยกันรักษาสืบทอดต่อไป
This artwork is inspired from my feeling towards Thai traditional houses which I have been interested in since I was young. As time passed by, the memory of Thai traditional houses is slowly faded away as a result of demolition, a lack of maintenance, and a rising number of high buildings which obscure the visibility of the houses. Therefore, I would like to express my feeling through my textile art by using light and shadow to convey the beauty of memorable and historical Thai traditional houses which should be preserved by the new generation.
