ปัจจุบัน การบูรณะโบราณสถาน โบราณวัตถุ เป็นการบูรณะในลักษณะที่สร้างวัตถุใหม่ แทนที่วัตถุเดิม การปรับปรุงกลายเป็นการเปลี่ยนแปลง ทำให้ลดคุณค่าของศิลปะอันล้ำค่าลง ข้าพเจ้าถ่ายทอดผ่านเทคนิคภาพพิมพ์แกะไม้ ในบรรยากาศของแสงที่นุ่มนวล เลือนราง เพื่อสื่อถึงความหวังและตั้งคําาถาม ในการบูรณะโบราณสถานว่าเป็นการปรับปรุง หรือเปลี่ยนแปลง ?
Today, the renovation of archaeological sites and ancient objects has been done by constructing or making new things in order to replace the old ones. Turning the renovation to creation of new things devalues the precious art. With my work, I express my feeling through the technic of woodcut printing with the vibe of soft and dim light. This is to hope for and ask a question of, in renovating archaeological sites and ancient objects we do it for better or for change.
