แนวความคิดของผลงานชิ้นนี้มันเกิดมาจากการที่เรามองเห็นว่าสิ่งของบนโลกนนี้แทบทิ้งหมดมันผลิตมาเพื่อใช้มือจับหมดเลยแถมการทำงานส่วนมากต้องใช้มือทั้งนั้น ทั้งมือของคนขับวินมอไซต์ บางคนก็ดำกร้านเลย ทั้งมือของคนทำร้านอาหาร ทั้งเรื่องดีๆ และเรื่องแย่ๆล้วนใช้มือทำได้หมดเลย บางคนชอบความสวยงาม อาจจะมีการทาเล็บ เพื่อเพิ่มความมั่นใจ บางคนเขียนมาก มือก็เป็นร่องปากกาดินสอ บางคนก็มีเครื่องรางของขลัง บางคนก็ใส่แหวน จนเกิดสีผิวไม่สม่ำเสมอ มันจึงเกิดผลงานชิ้นนี้ขึ้นมา เพื่อให้อยากแสดงเห็นรูปแบบของมือ ที่ต่างกัน ของ อาชีพ ฐานะ อายุ ความเชื่อ
The concept of this project came from my understanding that almost everything in the world is made to be handled or used with our hands. Some motorbike taxi drivers’ hands are very rough as well as the restaurant chefs’ hands. Good things and bad things are all done by hands. Some people prefer to stay pretty so that they polish their nails to boost confidence. Some people love writing, so their hands are full of pen and pencil marks. Some like to wear amulets or rings until their skin tone is uneven. This project, therefore, aims to show different kinds of hands varied in occupation, status, age, and belief.
