บทประพันธ์เรื่อง 'คอยโกโดต์ (Waiting For Godot)'ของแซมมวล เบกเกตตื ผสมกับ ทัศนคติ แนวคิด และรูปแบบการใช้ชีวิตที่ต่างกันของครในสังคม รวมถึงเกร็ดเล็กๆ รายละเอียดน้อยๆ ในชีวิตที่หลายตนมองข้ามไป แต่ล้วนมีความหมายและคุณค่าต่อการดำรงชีวิตในฐานะปัจเจกชน

Inspiration

I was inspired by both the play Waiting For Godot by Samuel Beckett, and the differences in attitudes, perceptions, and lifestyles among individuals. I wanted to bring little details overlooked in life back to attention, for thouse are some essential elements which from a major component of our lives, making us who we are today

แนวความคิด

การเชื่อมโยงรายละเอียดบางส่วนในเรื่องให้เข้ากับบทประพันธ์เรื่อง ' คอยโกโดต์ ' ของแซมมวล เบรกเกตต์(samuel Beckett) การจบฉากทุกฉากในตอนเดียวกันด้วยประโยคหรือวลีที่เหมือนหรือใกล้เคียงกัน การใช้ภาษาเล่าเรื่องในสัมพันธ์กับบุคลิกและลักษณะของตัวละครเอก การพยายามให้มุมมองที่แตกต่างกับสิ่งเดิมๆ เพื่อสร้างสรรค์ทัศนคติใหม่ที่จะมอบคุณค่าให้กับสิ่งเหล่านั้นในรูปแบบที่แปลกใหม่ และการนำเรื่องที่เมื่อมองผิวเผิน อาจดูเหมือนไร้สาระมาเชื่อมโยงกันให้เกิดเป็นเหตุการณ์ที่มีความหมาย ควรค่าแก่การจดจำและเรียนรู้

Concept

With a connection brtween certain details in the story and the play Waiting for Godot by Samuel Beckrtt, my unique style of ending every scene in the same chapter with the same or similar sentence or phrase, and word choices which corresponds toeach character's personality, I aimed to create a story that represents differences among people, and turn what is superficially perceived as senseless matters into some meaningful and memorable lessons

เนื้อหาในบทประพันธ์อย่างย่อ

แพรวาพยายามนำเหตุผลและหลักการเข้ามาใช้ควบคุมวิถีชีวิตตัวเอง เพราะเชื่อว่าสิ่งเหล่านี้เป็นรูปแบบการใช้ชีวิตทูถูกต้องและมีคุณค่า ซึ่งจะนำไปสู่ความสำเร็จในที่สุด บางคร้งที่เธอเผลอใช้"หัวใจ" ตัดสินเรื่องต่างๆ แทน "หัวสมอง" เธอก็มักได้เรียนรู้จากผลลัพธ์อันเลวร้ายว่าเธอไม่ควรปล่อยให่อารมณ์นำเหตุผลอีกในโอกาสต่อๆไป ในขณะเดียวกันเธอยกย่องและบูชาพ่อของเธอ จนถึงขั้นต้องพึ่งพ่อในการทำงาน และหลับหูหลับตาเชื่อทุกอย่างที่พ่อพูดว่าเป็นสิ่งที่ถูกต้องและสมเหตุสมผลที่สุด แต่แล้ววันหนึ่งชีวิตของเธอต้องพบกับจุดเปลี่ยนเมื่อเรื่องราวมากมายที่ไร้เหตุผลและหลักการเข้าท่ามาอธิบายได้เกิดขึ้น เรื่องทั้งหมดนี้ทำให้แพรวาต้องเรียนรู้ที่จะเปลี่ยนจุดยืน หาสมดุลให้ชีวิตที่สุดโต่งเกินไป รวมถึงเปิดใจรับทัศนคติแปลกใหม่จากคนรอบข้าง ซึ่งทั้งหมดนี้ถือเป็นกุญแจสำคัญของการใช้ชีวิตให้มีความสุขและคุ้มค่า

Synopsis

Praewa tends to lead a lifestyle where her behavior and thinking are merely based on logics and rationality, believing that qualities of being lucid and level headad will eventually lead her to success. Nevertheless, at times, she can't resist the urge to use her 'heart' rathar then her 'brain' to make decisions. Having ended up with nothing but regrets in her broken heat for those times, she learns her lesson swears that she will no longer let her emotions take control of her reasoning mind. The story also discusses Praewa's relationship with her father whom she wholeheartedly adores,idolizes, and depends on, foolishly accepting everything he says as true, correct, and sensible. Unexpectedly, her life is turned upside-down when something extremely senseless and unexplainable happens. Her deep-rooted thounghts are forced to change. With a significant alteration in her stand point, she has to open her mind and find a new balance in life, which in the end guide her to a much better understanding of the world, life and other human beings. This is a story of how an ignorant girl develops new perspectives on life which lead her to happiness and self-esteem
