แนวความคิด

เปลือกไม้ เป็นส่วนประกอบหนึ่งของต้นไม้ มีหน้าที่คอยปกป้องเนื้อในที่มีความสวยงาม ข้าพเจ้าจึงนํารูป ทรงของเปลือกไม้มาแสดงออกถึงการถูกคุกคามของมนุษย์ ที่เหลือไว้เพียงเปลือก ไม่มีเนื้อไม้ภายในอีกต่อไป ด้วยรูปทรงที่บิดเบี้ยวและร่องรอยที่แตกเป็นชิ้นๆ อาจเปรียบได้กับความรุนแรงที่มนุษย์กระทํากับทรัพยากร ป่าไม้ในบ้านเราหรือแม้แต่ในโลกก็ตาม

Concept

Bark, a component of a tree, helps defend the inside of the tree, which is beautiful. I therefore take the shape of the bark to express the invasion of humans, being left with only the bark but no longer the inside. With the misshaped and torn traces, we might be able to compare them with the violence humans have perpetrated on forest resources both in our home and other places in the world.
