บอกถึงลักษณะตัวตนและถ่ายทอดความรู้สึกเกี่ยวกับในสิ่งที่เราเป็นอยู่จริง ซึ่งเป็นความรู้สึกที่มีต่อความแตกต่างที่ไม่เหมือนใคร โดยใช้เรื่องราวเกี่ยวกับความบกพร่องทางการได้ยินของเรา เป็นการถ่ายทอดตัวตนและความรู้สึกในเชิงลบเมื่อเปรียบเทียบกับคนอื่นๆ โดยทั่วไป โดยการนำเสนอจะเลือกใช้สัญลักษณ์ของตัวหอยทาก เนื่องจากเป็นสัตว์ที่ไม่มีหู ให้สอดคล้องกับรูปลักษณะของตัวเราในชิ้นงาน และโดดเด่นมาเป็นสัญลักษณ์เชื่อมโยงรวมเข้าด้วยกันกับเรื่องราวจากประสบการณ์จริงในชีวิต คลื่นน้ำเปรียบเหมือนเป็นสภาวะกาลที่แปลกใหม่ที่ต้องเผชิญ
This piece of work expresses the identity of its artist as well as the feeling about her own existence–one of a kind that is not like any others. Her hearing impairment serves as a storytelling device to reflect her identity and evince her negative feelings when compared with the rest of the world. All this is echoed through the use of the symbolic snail due to its earless nature which is identical to the artist’s. This unique symbol is associated with the life incidents she experienced while the water waves can be analogous to new situations that she faced with.
