ผมกลับมาที่นี่อีกครั้ง แม้เวลาจะผ่านไปแต่กลิ่นของที่นี่ยังคงชัดเจนอยู่ในความทรงจำแม่แจ่มเป็นพื้นที่ที่มีความหลากหลาย ผู้คนส่วนใหญ่ประกอบอาชีพเกษตรกรรม แต่ยุคสมัยใหม่ที่มาพร้อมการขยายตัวทางเศรษฐกิจ ทำให้ชุมชนเกษตรกรรมเคลื่อนตัวสู่อุตสาหกรรมในระบบทุน ผมเคยใช้ชีวิตวัยเด็กที่นี่ แม้เป็นเวลาไม่นานแต่ทุกครั้งที่กลับมาจะเห็นได้ถึงการเปลี่ยนแปลงของพื้นที่ ทั้งความเจริญและความทรุดโทรม การกลับมายังที่ที่เป็นเหมือนสถานที่ฟูมฟักตัวตนมันทำให้ผมได้สำรวจตัวเอง และในขณะเดียวกันก็หยิบเอามันมานำเสนอในฐานะสถานที่แห่งความทรงจำ
This project is a record of situational changes in the location, focusing on the Mae-Jam area, as it is a wilderness agricultural area filled with cultural diversity. However, economic expansion creates changes in every aspect. I spending my childhood here, even just for a short period, I can always see transformations in Mae Chaem, both prosperity and deterioration. Therefore this is the work that captures the place in my memory. And it has grown, changed, sickened, and healed, just like myself.
