ผู้ประพันธ์ได้แรงบันดาลใจมาจากกลุ่มดาวหนึ่ง ชื่อว่า Ursa Major (กลุ่มดาวหมีใหญ่) ซึ่งเป็นกลุ่มดาวที่ใหญ่ที่สุดในบรรดากลุ่มดาวทางฝั่งซีกฟ้าเหนือ ผู้ประพันธ์ได้พบกับกลุ่มดาวนี้ในค่ำคืนที่ถูกระบายด้วยดวงดาวนับล้าน จนก่อเกิดให้เห็นเป็นแถบฝ้าสีขาวจางๆ ของกาแลกซีทางช้างเผือก ผนวกกับอากาศที่หนาวเหน็บ และเสียงลมที่ผัดมาจากป่า ได้สร้างความประทับใจอันยากจะลืมแก่ผู้ประพันธ์ ผู้ประพันธ์จึงได้นำความหมายของชื่อกลุ่มดาว และสภาพแวดล้อม ณ ขณะนั้น มาจินตนาการถึงเรื่องราวของบทเพลงนี้
This piece of music is inspired by a constellation called Ursa Major (also known as the Great Bear), the largest among the constellations in the Northern Hemisphere. The composer caught sight of this constellation on a night when the sky was covered with millions of shining stars that paved the way to a hazy band of white light of the Milky Way. Along with the cold spell and the sound of the shivering wind from the woods, all this left the composer with an unforgettably overwhelming impression to the point that he enthusiastically incorporated the meaning of the constellation name and the ambience of that very moment into the imagination and creation of this piece of music.
