Prelude for Three Poems

บทเพลงนี้ได้แรงบันดาลใจมาจากบทกวีของเนาวรัตน์ พงษ์ไพบูลย์ จากหนังสือเรื่อง “ขับไม้มโหรี" และ “วารีดุริยางค์” ซึ่งหลังจากที่ผมได้อ่านบทกลอน ความงดงามทางภาษาก็เป็นแรงบันดาลใจให้เขียนเพลงนี้เพื่อพรรณนาถึงบรรยากาศในกลอนนั้นๆ
This music was inspired by Naowarat Pongpaiboon's poems, from the books entitled “Kub-mai-ma-ho-ree” and "Wa-ree-du-riyang". Inspired by the aesthetic beauty of the language, I wrote this piece to reflect the beautiful atmosphere portrayed in the poems.
เป็นเพลงชุดที่แบ่งออกเป็น 3 ท่อน โดยแต่ละท่อนได้อ้างอิงและบรรยายถึงบทกวีของเนาวรัตน์ พงษ์ไพบูลย์ • ท่อนที่ 1 - พระพายกระซิบ (พรรณนาถึงความรู้สึกของลม) • ท่อนที่ 2 - สินธุยุรยาตร (พรรณนาถึงความรู้สึกของน้ํา) • ท่อนที่ 3 - เตโชลโทสะ (พรรณนาถึงความรู้สึกของไฟ)
"Prelude for Three Poems" is composed of three movements. Each refers to a poem by Ngowarot Pongpaiboon. • The 1st movement is "Pra-pai-kra-sib" (portraying the feelings of wind). • The 2nd movement is “Sin-tu-u-ra-yard" (portraying the feelings of water). • The 3rd movement is "Tae-cho-ru-to-sa" (portraying the feelings of fire).
